Elena Cabello brings nearly 30 years of senior living experience to her role as Executive Director at Solstice at El Paso, including 17 years as a director of assisted living and memory care and 10 years as a director of affordable housing.

Born and raised in El Paso, she attended Fullerton College in California and El Paso Community College. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family and friends, going to the mountains in their RV to relax, and sharing every possible moment with her two sons and her granddaughter.

Aurora Carrillo brings 25 years of sales and marketing experience, including 19 years in senior living, to her role as Director of Sales and Marketing at Solstice at Rio Norte. She also previously served as activities director at a senior living community and a quality assurance auditor for a provider care agency.

Born and raised in El Paso, Aurora loves reading, dancing, watching movies, eating at restaurants, attending events downtown, and taking her mom and niece out shopping.

Laura Delgado brings over 25 years of restaurant experience to her role as Vibrant Life^® Director at Solstice at Rio Norte. She was born and raised in El Paso and enjoys spending time with family, exercising and listening to music.

Fabian Tafoya has worked in senior living for over a decade. He also previously worked for an animal shelter.

He earned an associate degree from Stratford University. When he isn’t working, Fabian enjoys spending time with family, watching movies with his wife, reading, playing sports and working out.

Gabriel Esparza brings over a decade of experience in the senior living industry. He previously served as office and operations manager for Avida Home Health. He also has experience working as an operations manager for Mervyn’s department store.

Gabriel has lived in El Paso for 42 years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his wife and children, read, watch movies, walk in the park, and build.

Ubaldo Codina brings over 15 years of experience in maintenance to his role as Building Services Director at Solstice at Rio Norte, including in refrigeration and in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, as well as in kitchen equipment, make-ready, sheetrock repair, painting, plumbing and electrical. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

An El Paso native of 20 years, Ubaldo enjoys spending time with his daughter, Claudia, and visiting his grandfather in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. His goal is to be better every day.
